The area we cover is around the Vall d'Albaida, which is an historical region within the Valencian Community. It is made up of 34 villages and towns. The Albaida Valley stretches inland from the sea, where the Costa Blanca borders with the Costa Del Azahar (the orange blossom coast) and benefits from the Mediterranean climate, whilst not suffering the extremes of temperature normally associated with inland mountainous areas.
With some industry, the area is mostly agricultural and while the main towns are large and busy, the villages are mainly small and very traditional in their day-to-day life. This is a very scenic part of "real Spain".
There is a lot of information available on the internet about the Vall d'Albaida but the most informative tourism website that we have found is here.
